  1. Call to order
    All Task Force members will be recognized and the April 14, 2004 meeting notes will beoffered for the committee’s approval (see meeting highlights).

  2. DVRPC Long Range Plan Update: Destination 2030
    DVRPC is beginning an update of the region’s long range transportation and land use plan.Mike Boyer will present an overview of the project tasks and completion schedule. An integralcomponent of the plan will be policies, projects, and studies impacting freight.

  3. New Jersey Freight Plan
    New Jersey’s first ever comprehensive freight plan is being prepared. Eric Powers of NJ DOT and Tony DeJohn of Parsons Brinckerhoff will describe progress made to date, and seek the input of committee members on remaining tasks.
  4. Pennsylvania Mobility Plan
    Brian Wall of PennDOT and Keith Chase of Gannett Fleming will discuss the PennsylvaniaMobility Plan, its importance, and how it differs from past plans. This two-year effort presentsopportunities for the local freight community to participate in the plan’s development.

  5. FY 2006 Work Program Concepts
    In conjunction with development of the DVRPC FY 2006 Work Program, several concepts for freight-related studies have been proposed. The Task Force will be asked to establish priorities among the potential studies through a voting process.

  6. Two-minute Reports
    Task Force and Subcommittee chairs and Task Force members will provide updates on the activities of their companies and agencies.

  7. Old/New Business
    Old or new items of business will be considered. The next meeting of the Goods Movement Task Force is October 20, 2004.
