3. Approval of Recommended Projects for Economic Recovery Legislation
As the region prepares to receive new funding for infrastructure from the proposed Economic Recovery Legislation, DVRPC has been working with stakeholders to identify projects which could advance under this new program. Recommended projects will be reviewed and discussed by the Board for approval.
4. Recommendation for Reaffirmation of Conformity Determination of the FY 2009-2012 TIPs for Pennsylvania and New Jersey and the Destination 2030 Long Range Plan
The Wilmington Area Planning Council (WILMAPCO) is currently in the process of adopting their FY 2010-2012 TIP and New Castle County, Delaware is part of the Philadelphia-Wilmington PM 2.5 non-attainment area. DVRPC must reaffirm its conformity findings to support WILMAPCO's conformity findings for their new TIP.

5. Regional Citizens Committee (RCC) Report
The activities from the RCC Meeting of February 17, 2009 will be reported to the Board.
PRESENTATIONS
6. Using Technology to Support Effective Infrastructure Decision Making
Anthony Bartolomeo, Pennoni Associates, will present to the Board a presentation which centers on the development of an Asset Management System based on smart technology. It offers decision makers a means to determine the best use of limited capital improvement and maintenance dollars for their infrastructure systems.
7. Climate Change - Strategies and Legislation for Reducing Transportation Green House Gases (Cindy Burbank)
Climate change is rapidly emerging as a major issue for MPO's and State DOTs. Cindy Burbank, Parsons Brinckerhoff, will present to the Board a presentation which draws on a year-long study for the National Cooperative Highway Research Program. The study summarizes information on the most promising Green House Gas reduction strategies, potential Federal legislation, developments at the state and MPO level, and the need for climate adaptation planning.
