DVRPC's Development of the Region's ITS Architecture

Proposed United States Department of Transportation (USDOT) regulations will require each metro area to develop a localized ITS Architecture in conformance with the National ITS Architecture. ITS Architecture is a framework that identifies various ITS subsystems, the organizations they represent and the type of information flows between the subsystems (i.e. the various organizations). In the Philadelphia Region, DVRPC in conjunction with the ITS TTF has been working to develop the regional architecture.
