The Office of Corridor Planning conducts studies and prepares reports on congested transportation corridors in the region, with the primary goal being to improve mobility and safety, and relieve congestion.
A multimodal approach is taken in identifying practical solutions to corridor issues.
Several corridor planning studies are completed each year in the region by the Office of Corridor Planning.
These are prioritized based on the Congestion Management Process and the Long Range Plan.
This activity supports the initiative and policies of the New Jersey Department of Transportation and Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, and is responsive to the needs of county and municipal governments.
