Program Description: DVRPC's primary role as the project manager is to ensure a smooth workflow throughout the projects development process. As program manager DVRPC works with the county from needs determination to consultant selection to final approval from FHWA. DVRPC assists in defining the project's scope of services, advertises the request for proposal (RFP), administers the consultant selection process, and enter into the contract with the consultant. This is done in a manner that has the consultant administratively responsible to DVRPC yet still is technically responsible to the county engineer for all work on the project. Quarterly Update [.pdf
