This
workshop,
hosted by the Association of New Jersey Environmental Commissions
(ANJEC), will explain the State Transfer of Development Rights (TDR)
Act, discuss how to plan for preservation and growth areas, and
describe how to set up a TDR program. Mayors, planning board
members, and environmental commissioners are encouraged to attend to
learn how a TDR can enable a community to plan for: less consumptive
land use, better community design and smart growth, based on an
assessment of natural resources and available infrastructure.
