Delaware Valley Goods Movement Task Force
DVRPC's freight advisory committee, the Delaware Valley Goods Movement Task Force, is open to all trucking, railroad, port, airport, shipper, freight forwarder, economic development, and member government representatives. The Task Force is co-chaired by PennDOT and DVRPC, meets quarterly, and includes three subcommittees (Data, Planning, and Shippers).
DVRPC is involved with additional initiatives and partners in a support role, such as the I-95 Corridor Coalition; the Pennsylvania inland port; the Transportation Research Board; the Pennsylvania Rail Freight Advisory Committee; local consulates; and the Traffic Club of Philadelphia. DVRPC is also proud to lend its support to special events, such as the 2010 Traffic Club Annual Dinner.

The Delaware Valley Goods Movement Task Force typically meets in the DVRPC main conference room on a quarterly basis in January, April, July, and October.
Action Items
Reflective of its dynamic agenda and the desire to forge consensus and achieve integration, the DVRPC freight advisory committee reviews and considers recommendations regarding staff work priorities, subcommittee assignments, MPO core activities, policy issues, and member-driven requests.

Quarterly progress reports inform partners of key staff activities and accomplishments to support DVRPC freight planning efforts.
