DVRPC's new aerial photos, updated in 2005

• Covers the entire 3,833 square mile Delaware Valley Region, which includes all of Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties in Pennsylvania and Burlington, Camden, Gloucester and Mercer counties in New Jersey.

• Now available digitally on DVD, in TIFF or MrSID formats, by county or municipality. The imagery has a pixel resolution of 1 sq.ft., a positional accuracy of +/-5' and is designed for use at a scale of 1"=200'.
• True Color digital imagery "tiles" each show approximately 1.6 square miles. Using a Geographic Information System (GIS), individual tiles may be joined to form a seamless view of a larger area. The tiles are geo-referenced to either the Pennsylvania or New Jersey State Plane coordinate system.
• Hardcopy prints are available in two sizes (Wall or Report) at various scales. Historical photos from 1995 or earlier are available at approximately 1"=400' scale (Wall size only).
• Compare 2005 imagery to earlier aerial imagery to document changes in land use and to make historical comparisons.

Historic aerial photos are now available in digital format! [.pdf] Historic Aerial Photo "Atlas Sheets" refer to non-orthorectified, black and white scans of DVRPC's aerial photo enlargements from the years 1959, and 1965 through 1995 in five year increments.

Paper prints are available for the nine-county region in five year increments from 1965 to 2000, with limited availability from 1959. Paper prints from 1995 or earlier may take up to 10 business days to process.
