The RCC will review action items that include Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) amendments and a Federal Aid Functional Classification Change. In addition, staff will update the committee on Horizons, the Year 2025 Long-Range Plan.
The schedule for subcommittee meetings is as follows:
THE TRANSPORTATION SUBCOMMITTEE will meet at 12:00 p.m. on WEDNESDAY, JUNE 13, 2001 in the Philadelphia Room at DVRPC. PLEASE NOTE THIS CHANGE OF DATE DUE TO DVRPC'S OFFICES BEING CLOSED ON JUNE 14 IN OBSERVANCE OF FLAG DAY.
THE YEAR 2025 TASK FORCE will meet at 11:00 a.m. TUESDAY, JUNE 19, 2001 in the DVRPC Conference Center prior to the RCC meeting.
THE LEGISLATIVE/ENVIRONMENTAL SUBCOMMITTEES will also meet at TUESDAY, JUNE 19, 2001 in the DVRPC Conference Center prior to the RCC meeting.
THE RULES SUBCOMMITTEE will not meet.

For your information, DVRPC staff contacted SEPTA regarding a potential meeting to discuss the proposed SEPTA fare hike and a legislative briefing on a state subsidy for SEPTA. Both SEPTA and DVRPC staff agreed that the timing of this discussion was in question since SEPTA's public record regarding the fare hike has closed and because Pennsylvania is expected to act on the state budget no later than June 12, 2001. No meeting has been scheduled at this time. SEPTA is , however, preparing a response to the RCC's resolution on the Schuylkill Valley Metro which we will distribute as soon as it is available.
