1. Welcome and Introductions - Barry Seymour, DVRPC Assistant Executive Director

2. Pennsylvania's Brownfield Action Team and Land Recycling Program -
Dave Hess, Section Chief, Voluntary Cleanup and Standards Section, PADEP

Pennsylvania's Brownfield Action Team is responsible for expediting the remediation, reclamation, reuse and redevelopment of brownfields and abandoned coal mines. With a new focus and additional funding through the Governor's Economic Stimulus Package and through PennVest, come learn about how to move sites back into productive use.

3. Higher Density in the Suburbs - Karin Morris, Senior Planner, DVRPC

DVRPC is completing a study to examine how "density" is perceived in the suburban communities of the region and how regional development patterns and local community character can be enhanced through better design and higher development density.

4. Destination 2030: The Year 2030 Plan for the Delaware Valley - Richard Bickel, Deputy Director of Regional Planning, DVRPC

Preparation of the update to the DVRPC long-range Land Use and Transportation Plan is now underway. Staff will provide an overview of the plan's policy direction and discuss the opportunities for input to guide development of the plan.

5. FY2006 Work Program Development - Barry Seymour, DVRPC

Committee members will review and prioritize proposed projects for the DVRPC Work Program.
