  2. The Future of Pennsylvania's Cities
    Jeri Stumpf, Executive Director, PA House Urban Affairs Committee

    The Pennsylvania House Urban Affairs Committee has recently completed three days of hearings on the Future of Pennsylvania's Cities, and is developing proposed legislation to eliminate blight and stimulate economic development and new investment in Pennsylvania's cities and boroughs.

  3. Pennsylvania DEP and Land Use Reviews
    Louis Guerra, Jr., DEP Policy Office

    Pennsylvania's new "Growing Smarter" initiatives encourage sound land use planning at the local level and require state agencies to consider local land use ordinances and comprehensive plans in making certain permit and funding decisions. DEP has developed a proposed policy to integrate environmental and land use concerns.

  4. DVRPC Fiscal Year 2002 Work Program
    Ben Ginsberg, DVRPC Work Program Coordinator

    Each year DVRPC develops a Work Program of projects and initiatives to be undertaken. We are currently developing project ideas for Fiscal Year 2002, to begin July 1, 2001. The committee will review and propose priority actions for the DVRPC Work Program.
