1. Call to order

All Task Force members and guests will be recognized and the July 10, 2002 meeting notes will be offered for the committee's approval (see meeting highlights).

2. Tenth Anniversary of the Delaware Valley Goods Movement Task Force

Don Shanis of DVRPC will discuss the evolution and accomplishments of the Goods Movement Task Force during its first ten years, and also consider future opportunities and challenges for the committee.

3. FY 2004 Work Program Concepts

In conjunction with development of the DVRPC FY 2004 Work Program, Ted Dahlburg will present several concepts for freight-related studies. The Task Force will be asked to establish priorities among the potential studies through a voting process.

4. Freight Trends and the Mid-Atlantic Rail Operations Study

Lance Grenzeback of Cambridge Systematics will discuss emerging trends in freight transportation and the Mid-Atlantic Rail Operations Study. (note: this slide presentation will be posted and available on the DVRPC web site at: www.dvrpc.org)

5. Two-minute Reports

Task Force and Subcommittee chairs and Task Force members and guests will provide updates on the activities of their companies and agencies.

6. Old and New Business

Old and new items of business will be considered. The proposed 2003 meeting dates for the Goods Movement Task Force will be offered for approval.
