Staff will present the CMAQ projects recommended for Pennsylvania and New
Jersey.
A draft TIP document will be available the beginning of May and it is recommended that the Board authorize staff to open a 30-day public comment period starting the beginning of May through early June.
The TCDI program supports local development and redevelopment efforts in the cities and older suburbs and boroughs of the Delaware Valley. Staff will present, for Board approval, the recommended nine projects for funding in New Jersey and the 15 projects for Pennsylvania.
The Regional Aviation Committee (RAC) has prepared a policy paper for Board adoption of AIR 21, which is due to be reauthorized at the end of FY 2003. Programs and funding allocations in that legislation will have unique impacts and opportunities for the Regional Aviation System Plan (RASP) airports and heliports.
This study will determine the likelihood of protection against sea-level rise
by analyzing state and local coastal management policies and development patterns.
DVRPC will develop maps distinguishing the areas likely to be protected from
sea-level rise as opposed to those areas where shores will probably retreat
naturally.

A Nominating Committee will be selected to appoint candidates for Chairman,
Vice Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer to the DVRPC Board for Fiscal Year 2004
(July 1, 2003 through June 30, 2004). The Chairman for FY 2004 must be from
New Jersey. The committee will report these candidates at the May Board meeting
and elections will take place at the June Board meeting.
Dennis Winters, Chairman of the RCC, will report to the Board the activities of the RCC's Meeting of April 15, 2003.
