The Public Comment Period for the Draft DVRPC FFY2026 TIP for New Jersey is Now Closed

DVRPC’s Draft TIP for New Jersey represents the region's federally funded transportation improvement priorities and is required by federal law in order for the region to receive and spend federal transportation funds. It has been developed in cooperation with the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT), New Jersey Transit Corporation (NJT), Delaware River Port Authority (DRPA) and Port Authority Transit Corporation (PATCO), and DVRPC's member counties and cities. After consideration of public comments, the Draft TIP with any recommended changes will be presented to the DVRPC Board for adoption at the regularly scheduled Board meeting on September 25, 2025.

The public comment period for the Draft DVRPC FFY2026 TIP for New Jersey opened on July 18, 2025 at 5:00 PM (local time), and ended on August 20, 2025 at 5:00 PM (local time).

An in-person public meeting was held at Gloucester County Library - Mullica Hill Branch for the purpose of informing interested parties on how to make public comments on the FFY26 Draft DVRPC NJ TIP:

While participants needed to register beforehand, they were approved automatically and could register and join the meetings up until the end of the meeting. Additionally, people who wanted to participate but did not have internet access or smart phones could call in. Anyone who needed accommodations, such as closed captioning or interpretation for either meeting, could contact DVRPC’s Office of Communications & Engagement at public_affairs@dvrpc.org or 215-238-2929.

Written comments received during the public comment period and responses to those comments will be provided in the final TIP document as part of the public record. After consideration of the public comments received, the Draft TIP with any recommended changes will be presented to the DVRPC Board for adoption at the September 25, 2025 regularly scheduled Board meeting. Note that comments received after the comment period is over will not receive a response or be included in the final TIP document.
