Delaware Valley Goods Movement Task Force Subcommittees

The Delaware Valley Goods Movement Task Force is supported by three standing subcommittees: Data, Planning, and Shippers.

The activities of the subcommittees reflect current issues and the priorities of the Goods Movement Task Force, major DVRPC efforts and work program responsibilities, and member requests. For specific tasks, the subcommittees may be empowered to act on behalf of the entire Goods Movement Task Force.

The three subcommittees are chaired by active Goods Movement Task Force members. Subcommittee chairs are appointed by the Goods Movement Task Force co-chairs, typically hail from private industry, and make subcommittee reports to the full committee at the quarterly Goods Movement Task Force meetings.

Subcommittee membership is open to all Goods Movement Task Force members. The committees meet at the direction of the individual chairs. Some tasks may be achieved by other means (e.g., email, internet, or phone).
