5. DVRPC Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) Actions
The dynamic nature of funding transportation improvements and the need to remain within financial constraint require amendments or modifications to the TIP. The following projects require formal TIP Amendments or Modifications this month for the FY 2017 TIP for PA and the FY 2016 for NJ.
a. PA17-51: SEPTA Communications, Signals, and Technology Improvements, (MPMS #102571), Various Counties – Increase Funding
b. PA17-52: US 1, Chester County Line to Pole Cat Road, (MPMS #88400), Delaware County – Add New Project to the TIP
c. PA17-53: Chester and Montgomery County Bridges, (MPMS #’s 107945, 98036, 98041, 98039, & 98037), Chester and Montgomery Counties – Add New Projects to the TIP
d. PA17-54: Township Road over West Branch of Big Elk Creek (County Bridge #297), (MPMS #86276), Chester County – Add New Project to the TIP
e. PA17-55: Statewide Green Light-Go Funded Projects, (Various MPMS #s), Various Counties – Add Proposed New Projects to the TIP
6. New Mission and Vision Statement Adoption
Recently, DVRPC staff has reviewed the Commission’s existing Mission Statement to make sure that it accurately portrays our direction and work as guided by the DVRPC Board. The effort presents a clearer understanding of who we are and where we’re headed with an updated Mission and Vision Statement. The proposed statement will be presented for RTC consideration.
7. Proposed Dates for Calendar Year 2018 RTC Meetings
The proposed dates for calendar year 2018 RTC meetings will be presented for approval.

8. Eat Local Montco
Staff will present recent work completed to develop Montgomery County's local food promotion strategy which analyzes the county's agricultural resources and provides recommendations for ways the county can support local farmers and food producers.
9. Philadelphia Zoo Passenger Rail Study
Staff will present findings from this planning and forecasting study, which synthesized prior planning work and developed ridership forecasts for five future passenger rail service scenarios, including two monorail shuttle scenarios that would connect the Zoo with 30th Street Station via Mantua and the Schuylkill Yards area, and three Regional Rail station scenarios.

10. DVRPC'S 2015 Enhanced Land Use File
DVRPC has developed a land use file in-house since the 1970's that is used to inform our planning process and support programs and projects for DVRPC and our partners. The development of the 2015 Enhanced Land Use file - using an improved land use classification system - marks the first time a consultant was used to produce this file. Staff will discuss how this more detailed 2015 land use file was developed and how it compares to past efforts.
11. FY19 UPWP Development Discussion
DVRPC staff will lead a discussion on the development of the FY19 Unified Planning Work Program including: requirements, planning emphasis areas, process, schedule and initial outreach to counties/cities.
