representatives from Lower Makefield, Newtown Borough,
Newtown Township, Northampton, Upper Makefield, Wrightstown
and Yardley Borough (the “Regional Traffic
Planning Task Force”) invite you to a Public Open House
to help find solutions to traffic problems
in the Newtown-Yardley region of Central Bucks County. The
Bucks County Regional Traffic Study is a major study effort
addressing such concerns as:

traffic safety and mobility
•
heavy truck volumes
•
traffic speeds
•
traffic growth and ongoing development

Staff
from the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission, the
Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and the Bucks County
Planning Commission will supply study background and findings-to-date,
and record your concerns and observations. Besides furnishing
useful information, your participation will provide
a gauge for decision-making.
Information
will also be available on two important transportation projects
being developed in the study area: the Swamp Road Reconstruction
Project, and a Traffic Signal Enhancement Initiative along
the Newtown Bypass.
