a cooperative effort of Lower Makefield, Newtown Borough,
Newtown Township, Northampton, Upper Makefield, Wrightstown
and Yardley Borough to systematically investigate and comprehensively
address traffic and truck safety and mobility in the Newtown-Yardley
area of central Bucks County. Elected representatives from
each municipality, collectively referred to as the “Regional
Traffic Planning Task Force (RTPTF),”
are serving as the study’s directors.

A. Petri are actively supporting the proceedings. Technical
assistance is being provided by:

the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC)
• the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT)
• the Bucks County Planning Commission (BCPC)
• Jacobs Edwards and Kelcey, transportation planning and
traffic engineering consultant
The
study has been made possible through a grant from the Pennsylvania
Department of Community and Economic Development, and funding
provided by PennDOT. DVRPC is responsible for managing the
project.
The BCRTS website represents the project history and deliverables prepared through 3/31/2008.
As of 3/31/2008 the BCRTS Website is no longer maintained by DVRPC.
