The Delaware Valley Goods Movement Task Force was established to maximize the Delaware Valley's goods movement capability by sharing information and technology between public and private freight interests, promoting the region's intermodal capabilities and capacity, and developing and implementing a regional goods movement strategy. It advises the DVRPC Board on all goods movement issues, studies and projects.
Task Force meetings consist of DVRPC staff presentations, guest speakers, and member updates on timely goods movement topics. Meeting materials are transmitted to Task Force members approximately 10 days prior to the meeting. Task Force membership and meetings are open to all goods movement and transportation professionals in the Philadelphia-Camden metropolitan area.
Task Force meetings begin at 10AM in the DVRPC Main Conference Room (unless notified otherwise). Coffee is available at 9:30AM, and a light lunch is served immediately following the meeting.
